How to Print Double Sided on Mac

There are so many reasons why people prefer double-sided printing. In addition to being more eye-pleasing and took lesser time, double-sided printing also tends to save paper and indirectly contributes to reducing the use of paper waste.

Before we start discussing the steps that you need to follow, keep in mind that only printers that are compatible with duplex printing can print double-sided.

Now, please follow the steps below:

  • Click on the “File” menu at the top of your screen, then choose “Print”.
  • Or, you can just press the Command key and P to go straight to the print window.
  • Click “Show Details”.
  • Then, you’ll found the “Preset” submenu, and then you can click “Layout” from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the box next to two-sided printing. There, you can choose the style of double-sided printing you prefer.
  • If you choose Long-Edge binding, it will print both sides with the same page orientation. While Short-Edge binding is the exact opposite.
  • If you’re done choosing the more preferable style, click “Print” to confirm your action.
